Design Wall Monday November 19, 2012

I had a Jelly Roll of a Batik that has been on the shelf a while and one day decided to do some mindless sewing.  I sewed and then made these three sections.  I'll figure out a Border and then this one will go to our Local Women's Shelter.    What color would you add to this for a border?  I'm thinking Grey.

It was nice to just sit a sew a few days this past week-end and make Pillowcases for the Shelter.  There are pictures in my Previous posting HERE.

I've been busy quilting for Customers and haven't had much time to sew for myself.
Here's the one on the Frame now.  Quilting Pattern is "Drifting Snowflakes" from Quilter's Niche.

A close-up of the snowflakes.  This is the only kind of Snowflakes that we have at Thread and Bolts.

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog. I like your "autumn birches" jelly roll quilt. Gray would be great for a border and/or binding.
